Job description

Are you experienced in logistics and passionate about keeping operations running smoothly? Join our dynamic team as a Parts Dispatch Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring all parts are dispatched accurately, on time, and in full — supporting both internal van deliveries and courier services.

About the Role

As a Parts Dispatch Coordinator, you will oversee the entire parts dispatch process across multiple sites. Working closely with Warehouse & Distribution Team Leaders, drivers, operatives, and Dismantling Team Leaders, you’ll ensure compliance with SLAs, quality standards, and Transfer Stock Process (TSP) requirements. Your attention to detail and coordination skills will be key to delivering excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor, audit, and manage all orders through TSP, TSD, Big Change, and Frontier systems
  • Use internal and third-party delivery systems to schedule accurate and timely deliveries that meet SLA requirements
  • Audit and rectify any orders failing to meet process standards at stages including Pick, QC, Pack, Dispatch, and Delivery
  • Analyse orders and invoices, determining optimal shipping routes with input from stakeholders
  • Categorise shipments from origin depot to final delivery point during processing
  • Perform administrative duties to support department operations
  • Arrange and track deliveries, collections, and returns, resolving any issues and special requirements to enhance customer service
  • Liaise with sales channels and Operations leaders to improve departmental efficiency
  • Escalate critical issues to Line Managers as needed
  • Conduct daily stock and location audits, ensuring visibility and accuracy for the wider business and network

Person Specification:

  • Experience in dispatch, logistics, or a similar environment
  • Familiarity with working alongside couriers
  • Strong planning and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of car parts and TSP systems preferred
  • Basic literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Process-driven, methodical, and highly organised

What We Offer:

  • Day shifts – Monday to Friday (no weekends)
  • 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Company pension with 3.5% employer contribution
  • Uniform and PPE provided
  • Free onsite parking
  • Exclusive employee discounts via Benefithub (shopping, travel, lifestyle)
  • Discounted vehicle parts and non-auction vehicles
  • Vodafone employee discount
  • One paid day per year to volunteer for a charity of your choice
