Job summary

Syntech Recruitment is recruiting a Junior Goods In Coordinator near Basingstoke, Hampshire. The role covers goods-in, purchasing, stock management and general workshop operations in a manufacturing setting.

No prior engineering experience is required; a positive attitude, good telephone manner and strong IT skills are valued as you learn through full training and on‑the‑job support.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone manner and confident communication skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email and data entry.
• Ability to listen carefully, follow instructions and work to established processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Book incoming goods onto internal computer systems.
• Answer telephone calls and communicate professionally with customers and suppliers.
• Contact suppliers to order parts, materials and consumables.
• Assist with raising purchase orders and processing documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, deliveries and supplier enquiries.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update internal systems.
• Organise materials and assist with stock control.
• Pick, pack and prepare finished components for dispatch.
• Move materials around the workshop to support production.
• Follow established company procedures and instructions.
• Support general goods-in, purchasing and administrative activities.
