Job summary

Prince Personnel is recruiting a proactive Goods-In Operative to support inbound materials in a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse. You will unload deliveries, check paperwork, and book in goods while maintaining accurate stock records to support production schedules.

The role suits someone with goods-in/warehouse experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and checking parts against paperwork.

• Stock control, daily/weekly stock checks, and managing consumables.
• Keeping the goods-in area clean and compliant.
• Liaising with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams.

Hours of work: Monday – Friday (40 hours)

Package: up to circa £32,000 per annum

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly successful manufacturing organisation seeking a proactive Goods-In Operative to support the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of all inbound materials. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining high operational and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and checking parts against paperwork


• Booking in goods and printing goods-ins labels

Required Experience

• Strong experience in a Goods in / Warehouse / Stores or logistics roles


• Strong accuracy, organisation, and communication skills


• Confident with Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS systems


• Proactive, reliable, and able to work under pressure


• Calm, methodical, and team-focused


• Experienced FLT (Counterbalance) licence holder (expired will be considered)
