Imad's Syrian Kitchen in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to support daily kitchen operations. You will assist with food preparation, cook dishes under supervision, and keep work areas clean and organized, following recipes and safety standards.

This role offers hands-on learning across sections and opportunities to grow culinary skills as you work with a busy team, communicating clearly and adapting to changing needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and present dishes consistently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different kitchen sections.

Responsabilités

• Food Preparation: Assisting in chopping vegetables, butchering meat, garnishes and prep work.
• Cooking: Assisting with cooking and assembling dishes under supervision, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Keeping work areas clean, utensils and equipment, following health and safety rules.
• Stock Management: Assisting with inventory, checking supplies, reporting low stock.
• Learning and Development: Gaining knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Working with the Team: Communicating with Sous Chefs, Chef de Parties and other staff across sections.
• Time Management: Handling multiple tasks to meet restaurant needs.
