UK Power Networks Services seeks a Junior Civil Design Engineer to deliver civil and structural designs for tendering, construction and commissioning of electricity network assets. You will work under a Senior Civil Designer within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations and safety requirements.

You will liaise with suppliers and clients, develop cost-efficient designs, and contribute to engineering knowledge and best practices across civil/structural

Qualifications

• Proven written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of AutoDesk suite for civil engineering design.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Produce civil and structural designs for tendering, construction, and commissioning of electricity network assets.
• Prepare technical, commercial and contractual documents for procurement of engineering products and services.
• Contribute to hazard reduction and safety in design.
