Job summary

Aimbridge is seeking a Commis Chef to join our busy hotel kitchen in Salford. You will assist senior chefs, prepare and cook dishes to menu specifications, and help maintain cleanliness and high standards of food safety and presentation.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and a passion for guest experience. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commis chef or similar role in a hotel/restaurant setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from senior chefs.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen, with adherence to food safety regulations.
• Good communication, teamwork, and willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs with food preparation and cooking to menu specifications.
• Prepare and cook a range of dishes to a high standard of quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and prep areas; follow safety regulations.
