We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Catering Supervisor to join our Catering Team at The London Clinic, based at our main hospital site in London (W1G 6BW). We are offering a competitive salary.

Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, featuring 8 state-of-the-art facilities and approximately 1350 employees dedicated to providing expert, individualized patient care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors, with over 150 patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Our specialties include general surgery, ENT, gynaecology, hepatobiliary, neuro-spinal, ophthalmic, orthopaedic, plastic and reconstructive, robotic, urology, vascular, and bariatric surgery.

Job Profile

As a Junior Catering Supervisor, your responsibilities will include providing high-quality food and beverage service to patients, staff, and visitors across all areas of the London Clinic, ensuring high standards of hygiene and health & safety practices. You will follow instructions from your line managers, report and monitor departmental standards, and collaborate with other Catering Service Supervisors to manage all tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Job Details

• Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, with flexible shifts (AM or PM)
• Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Duties

• Maintain cleanliness in all food service areas, completing cleaning schedules and HACCP checklists.
• Ensure storage, preparation, and service of food and beverages comply with Clinic policies and procedures.
• Attend daily meetings/briefings as requested by the Catering Manager.
• Conduct regular hygiene inspections.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of menus offered in all catering areas.
• Ensure staff adhere to dress code, conduct, and personal hygiene standards as per Clinic and departmental policies.
