The Role Scope

In our fast-paced retail environment, we're seeking someone with a keen interest in buying, relevant experience, and a drive to learn and grow within a dynamic team.

• Collaborate with buying teams to develop product direction aligned with brand and divisional strategies
• Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and KPIs to inform decisions
• Achieve department KPIs related to margin and profit, addressing risks with Merchandising
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers for optimal deals
• Use sales and trend data to anticipate customer needs and make commercial decisions
• Identify gaps and opportunities in product ranges to maximize department performance while managing risks
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity
