Job description

JOB TITLE: Junior Business Intelligence Manager

DURATION: 6 – 9 Months with possible extension

LOCATION: Chertsey, Surrey, with 3-4 days in the office per week

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

This newly created role within the Business Innovation team is responsible for gathering, processing, and interpreting supplier sales, inventory, and distribution data. The role involves creating weekly performance and distribution reports for UK customers and sharing insights with various internal management teams, as well as stakeholders at the company’s headquarters abroad.

***Must have experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM), which is a basic requirement for the role.***

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Coordinate daily across platforms with internal Sales and Finance teams to gather essential customer information required for centralized data systems and performance updates.
  2. Monitor and track UK and Ireland mobile sales data across 30+ channel accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across departments.
  3. Perform daily data validation and processing by importing and cleaning Excel-based sales and inventory files, followed by uploading formatted data to the central system.
  4. Provide daily sales progress updates and Weeks of Supply (WOS) reports for senior leadership.
  5. Support development and management of a Supply Chain Management (SCM) database. Analyze and report sales/inventory status, resolve supply data issues, and deliver insights in a simplified, executive-ready format.
  6. Produce weekly SCM KPI and EDI (Electronic Data Interface) reports to support broader supply chain analysis for internal business purposes and reporting to international HQ.
  7. Develop and manage project roadmaps with high-quality documentation.
  8. Maintain and enhance dashboards and visual reporting tools to align with project requirements.
  9. Engage with stakeholders, offering proactive solutions via regular check-ins and meetings.
  10. Prepare and distribute weekly management reports to summarize business performance and potential risks.
  11. Assist in automating data pipelines and presentations to support evidence-based decision-making.
  12. Gather feedback and compile action plans from multiple divisions for submission to European and global HQs.

OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Training supply chain personnel on accessing and using the data system remotely.
  • Attending and contributing to daily remote team meetings.
  • Participating in training sessions on AI and machine learning development.

DIMENSIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Must have supply chain management (SCM) experience
  • Strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced level)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a related role

Desirable Skills, but not essential:

  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Data Visualisation and Reporting Tools: Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik

HOURS OF WORK:

37.5 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work may be required for special projects or urgent needs.
