We are looking for a highly motivated Business Intelligence Manager to join our dynamic team. You will oversee the delivery and management of a robust, scalable business intelligence platform and its supporting systems to meet the organisation's business goals. This includes defining how data will be stored, accessed, consumed, integrated, and managed by various data entities and IT systems, as well as applications that process this data.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of the business intelligence platform, ensuring compliance with the company's analytics strategy.
• Coordinate, train, and evaluate cross-departmental business analysts and partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to select appropriate platforms and services supporting the BI strategy.
• Interpret organisational data needs and ensure they align with data architecture and strategy.
• Define and manage principles, vision, and standards for data warehousing and data lakes, ensuring scalability.
• Manage vendor resources and database administrators.
• Stay informed about data capabilities and trends; evaluate vendors and products.
• Establish and oversee governance protocols for BI strategy.
• Monitor data system integrity, security, and service continuity.
• Manage datasets, access security, and policies hands-on.
• Create documentation, lead discussions with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Network Management for Disaster Recovery planning.
• Perform other duties as required and ensure compliance with company policies.

About You (Key Skills/Competencies)

• At least 5 years of experience in a data-related role.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of data management, storage principles, and system architecture.
• Knowledge of distributed computing environments.
• Experience with Microsoft development tools.
• Understanding of data security and privacy.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
