Overview

Solus is seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team.

As a Solus Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across our organisation. If you have a passion for solving complex problems through innovative data solutions, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Extract, transform and load data (ETL).
  • Build and maintain relational data models.
  • Develop and maintain reports with clear narratives.
  • Adhere to the team’s governance framework.
  • Continuously monitor and optimise data workflows and reporting solutions for maximum efficiency.
  • Championing a DevOps mindset when working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Manage and prioritise your workload effectively while delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines.
  • Think critically to solve complex problems independently and propose creative solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Business Intelligence & analytics.

You will work with the following tools and platforms:

  • Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Data Engineering, Real-Time Intelligence, Power BI)
  • Azure Services (DevOps, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Storage, SQL Server)
Qualifications

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Experience with Programming languages such as (Python, SQL etc.)
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with medallion architecture.
  • An understanding of dimensional modelling concepts.
  • Proficiency with reporting tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Practical experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
