Gifted insurance professionals seeking a challenging role to utilise their industry knowledge and network will relish the opportunity to join this prestigious global broker’s dedicated Technical Team.
As a subject matter expert on Property and BI, you will have a significant influence across the business, using your negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills to secure the best outcomes for colleagues and clients.
This highly visible role involves representing the broker on internal and external bodies, such as in-house practice groups, BIBA, and the CII. You will review market reforms, analyze emerging risks, and communicate how these affect stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and third parties. Clients are primarily UK-based, including large publicly-listed and private companies from sectors like Food & Beverage, Tech, and Manufacturing. Your responsibilities include analyzing policy wordings, conducting reviews and comparisons, and working with the market to develop standardised wordings.
You will proactively research industry news, trends, and risks to provide thought leadership and contribute to new product and service development. Additionally, you will create various documents, from templates and training materials to reports on competitor and insurer activities. As the team’s Property risks expert, you will also serve as an ad-hoc sounding board on relevant classes.

You should possess gravitas and authority, with strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive positive outcomes. Excellent communication skills are essential for securing stakeholder buy-in. Given the complexity of projects, you must have excellent task management skills, be highly analytical, and detail-oriented, capable of drilling down into subjects and reporting findings effectively.
This role offers remote working from anywhere in the UK, with occasional travel to London (fully expensed). Regular office visits are also possible if preferred.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary (negotiable based on experience), a car allowance, and a market-leading pension scheme. A comprehensive, flexible benefits package tailored to your circumstances is also provided.
