Gifted insurance professionals seeking a challenging role to utilise their industry knowledge and network will relish the opportunity to join this prestigious global broker’s dedicated Technical Team.
As a subject matter expert on Property and BI, you will have a significant influence across the business, using your negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills to secure optimal outcomes for colleagues and clients.
This highly visible role involves representing the broker on internal and external bodies, such as in-house practice groups, BIBA, and the CII. You will review market reforms, analyze emerging risks, and communicate how these impact stakeholders (clients, colleagues, and third parties). Clients are primarily UK-domiciled, including prominent publicly-listed and private companies from Food & Beverage, Tech, and Manufacturing sectors. Responsibilities include analyzing policy wordings, conducting reviews and comparisons, and collaborating with the market to develop standardised wordings.
You will proactively research industry news, trends, and risks to provide thought leadership and identify new products and services. Additionally, you will assist in creating various documentation, from business templates and training materials to reports on competitor and insurer activities. As the team’s 'go-to' Property risks expert, you will also serve as an ad-hoc sounding board for relevant classes.
Our client values experience from Corporate Broking, Underwriting, Claims, or Risk Management. However, expertise in relevant classes and exposure to corporate accounts are essential.
You should possess gravitas and authority, with strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive positive outcomes. Excellent communication skills are necessary to secure stakeholder buy-in. Given the complexity of projects, strong task-management skills are required, along with high analytical ability and attention to detail to report findings effectively.
This role offers remote working flexibility within the UK, with occasional travel to the City (fully expensed). Regular office presence is optional.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary (negotiable based on experience), car allowance, market-leading pension, and a flexible benefits package tailored to your needs.
