As a subject matter expert on Property and BI, you will have a far-reaching influence across the business, using your negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills to secure the best outcomes for colleagues and clients.
This highly visible role involves representing the broker on internal and external bodies, such as in-house practice groups, BIBA, and the CII. You will review market reforms, analyze emerging risks, and communicate their impact to stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and third parties. Clients are primarily UK-based, including major companies from Food & Beverage, Tech, and Manufacturing sectors. Your responsibilities include analyzing policy wordings, conducting reviews and comparisons, and collaborating to create standardised wordings.
You will proactively research industry news, trends, and risks to provide thought leadership and help develop new products and services. Additionally, you will create various documents, such as business templates, training materials, and reports on market activity. As the team's Property risks expert, you will also serve as an ad-hoc sounding board for relevant classes.
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in Corporate Broking, Underwriting, Claims, or Risk Management, provided they are subject matter specialists in relevant classes and have corporate account exposure.
You should possess gravitas and authority, with strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive positive outcomes. Excellent communication skills are essential to secure stakeholder buy-in. Since you'll handle multiple complex projects, task-management skills are crucial. You must be highly analytical and detail-oriented, capable of deep analysis and effective reporting.
This role can be based remotely anywhere in the UK, with monthly travel to the City (fully expensed). Regular office presence is also possible if preferred.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary (negotiable based on experience), a car allowance, a market-leading pension, and a flexible benefits package tailored to your needs.
