Job summary

Apprentify in Wellingborough is seeking a Junior Account Executive to start a career in sales within a global logistics context. You will speak with new and existing business customers, learn shipping processes, and deliver friendly support while participating in a 12‑month training programme.

On completion, you can progress toward an Account Manager role with ongoing mentoring, and there is potential for hybrid working from year 2.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Speak with new and existing business customers
• Learn about how they currently ship goods and where improvements can be made
• Provide helpful, friendly support and maintain regular contact
• Take part in a structured 12-month training programme
• Gain hands-on experience in sales, negotiation, and customer service
• Learn through a mix of classroom training, shadowing experienced colleagues, and on-job coaching
• Help onboard new clients and guide them through the process
• Assist with pricing, billing queries, and general account support
• Work closely with your team to solve problems and deliver a great service
• Build your skills and move towards more senior roles
• Develop into a confident Account Manager over time
• Earn commission as you grow your portfolio of customers
