Job summary

Advinia Health Care seeks a vibrant Wellbeing Coordinator to drive happiness, wellbeing and dementia-friendly activities within our home. You will design meaningful experiences, deliver sessions, and champion inclusion, dignity and community engagement.

You'll work with Home Manager and Dementia leads to embed the Happieness & Wellbeing programme, coordinate a calendar of person-centred activities, and extend community links, all while maintaining safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English.
• Confidence using technology.
• Experience of dementia – either personal or professional.
• Energetic, compassionate, and full of creative ideas.
• A natural people-person who can light up a room.
• Passionate about wellbeing, inclusion, and person-centred care.
• Confident leading activities—from lively group sessions to calm one-to-one time.
• Organised enough to make the magic happen consistently.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and implement Advinia's Happieness & Wellbeing programme.
• Embed the whole home approach to activities.
• Develop and coordinate a calendar of person-centred group activities.
• Plan individualised 1:1 sessions for Residents.
• Manage the activity budget with the Home Manager.
• Maximise resources for meaningful engagement and assess risks.
