Job summary

Advinia is seeking a passionate Wellbeing Coordinator to design and deliver meaningful wellbeing experiences for residents, including dementia awareness and inclusion. You will champion the Happieness & Wellbeing framework across the home, creating joyful moments and person-centred care.

You will collaborate with Home Manager and Dementia Lead to run diverse activities, 1:1 sessions, and community engagement, ensuring a warm, empowering environment for every resident.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English.
• Confidence using technology.
• Experience of Dementia – personal or professional.
• Energetic, compassionate and creative.
• A natural people-person who can light up a room.
• Passionate about wellbeing, inclusion and person-centred care.
• Confident leading activities—group sessions to 1:1 time.
• Organised enough to make the magic happen consistently.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and implement Advinia’s Happieness & Wellbeing programme.
• Embed the whole home approach to activities with the Home Manager and team.
• Build community links and promote events like Intergenerational sessions and Open Days.
• Plan a varied calendar of group activities and 1:1 sessions.
• Manage activity budget with Home Manager and explore fundraising.
• Ensure risk assessments are completed for activities and outings.
