Job summary

Bayford House Care Home, part of Bupa, is seeking an Activity Coordinator to design and run engaging daily activities for residents. You will manage a weekly activity planner, stay within a set budget, and organise celebrations and outings to enhance wellbeing.

You’ll work closely with care teams to tailor plans, support social media needs, and foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere for residents and families alike.

Qualifications

• Creativity in planning engaging activities for residents.
• Ability to manage budgets and keep paperwork orderly.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Run morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Produce and update an activity planner within budget.
• Organise birthday surprises for residents.
• Coordinate with external companies/performers for days out/events.
• Arrange one-to-one activities with residents (reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading).
• Support home social media channels as required.
