Job summary

Rentokil Initial in Lincoln is seeking a Joiner Technician to deliver on domestic and commercial joinery projects across the Midlands. You’ll manage your own schedule while solving varied customer problems on site.

The role offers a competitive salary (£26,655 per annum), a company vehicle, fuel card, tools and uniform, plus relocation support up to £5,000 and structured training. Full-time, Monday to Friday with potential overtime and career progression.

Qualifications

• On-site joinery experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible to support business needs and schedule.
• Willingness to work on domestic and commercial sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix joinery, replacing decayed joists and flooring, renewing skirting boards.
• Implement preservation works on site (stripping/replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows).
• Assist with damp proofing and removal of wall coatings including plaster; woodworm treatments and cavity drain membrane installation.
• Perform timber treatments (woodworm, sprays, fungal decay).
• Provide advice to customers and deliver high level of service on site.
• Follow risk assessments and on-site health & safety measures.
• Keep sites clean and tidy and complete tasks as required by the branch.
