Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Joiner Technician to join our Property Care team, covering the Midlands from the Lincoln branch. You will perform on-site joinery tasks, provide expert customer service, and manage your schedule with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• On-site joinery experience.
• Formal joinery qualification such as carpentry and joinery NVQ Level 2 preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out first and second fix joinery, replacing decayed joists and flooring; renewing skirting boards and other timber repairs.
• Implementing preservation works on site, including stripping and replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows.
• Supporting damp proofing and removal of wall coatings including plaster, woodworm treatments, wall tie installation and cavity drain membrane installation.
• Carrying out timber treatments such as woodworm, sprays and fungal decay work.
• Offering advice to customers and delivering a high level of service.
• Adhering to risk assessments and health & safety measures on-site.
• Ensuring sites are left clean and tidy.
• Completing other tasks within the branch as required.
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
