Job summary

Rentokil Initial are seeking a Joiner Technician to deliver domestic and commercial joinery work from the Lincoln branch, covering the Midlands. The role offers a basic salary of £26,655 per year, a company vehicle, fuel card, tools, mobile phone, and uniform, with potential overtime and up to £5,000 relocation assistance.

You will perform first and second fix joinery, timber repairs, preservation works, damp proofing, and wood treatments while upholding health & safety, and customer service

Qualifications

• On-site joinery experience required.
• Full UK driving licence held >2 years with no more than six penalty points.
• Formal joinery qualification such as carpentry and joinery NVQ Level 2 preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• DBS check may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out first and second fix joinery, replacing decayed joists and flooring; renewing skirting boards and other timber repairs.
• Implementing preservation works on site, including stripping and replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows.
• Supporting damp proofing and removal of wall coatings including plaster and woodworm treatments.
• Carrying out timber treatments such as woodworm, sprays and fungal decay work.
• Offering advice to customers and delivering a high level of service.
• Adhering to risk assessments and health & safety on-site.
• Keeping sites clean and tidy and completing other branch tasks as required.
