Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley is seeking a Joiner Multi-Skilled (Carpenter - Multi-Skilled) to join our Property team in the East Midlands. The role is permanent and full time, offering a salary between £33,299 and £35,052 per annum.

You will work a standard 40-hour week (8am–6pm) with rotational on-call duties and a company van and fuel card provided to support residents. A full UK manual driving licence is required and DBS checks apply after offer.

The role

Title: Joiner Multi-Skilled (known internally as Carpenter - Multi-Skilled)

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £33,299 - £35,052

Working hours/pattern: 40 hours per week between 8am – 6pm. To support our residents, you will be required to participate in second shift and an out of hours on-call service on a rotational basis. Company van and fuel card provided.

Requirements

Experience

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
