Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multi-Skilled Joiner to cover Havant & Gosport in a busy social housing maintenance team. You will perform carpentry as the primary trade, supported by multi-trade repair skills to achieve first-time fixes while working independently and keeping records up to date. A van is provided and there is an opportunity to join an on-call rota with extra pay.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds (Carpentry/Joinery).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong joinery skills plus solid multi-trade ability.
• Experience in a customer-focused, target-driven environment.
• Confident working independently and solving problems on the tools.
• Good health & safety awareness.
• Social housing experience desirable.
• Own power tools required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-time fixes for residents in a social housing setting.
• Manage your own workload and update job records accurately.
• Maintain the van and tools and keep a tidy, safe work area.
• Deliver excellent customer service on every visit.

Multi-Skilled Joiner — Havant & Gosport

£25.70per hour Van & Fuel Card 39 hrs/week Temp to Perm Role

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a busy social housing maintenance team covering Havant & Gosporton a Temp to Perm Basis

The Role

Carpentry will be your primary trade, backed up by multi-trade repair skills to help deliver first-time fixes for residents. You'll work independently, manage your own workload, keep accurate job records, and maintain your van, tools,all while delivering great customer service.

There's also the option to join the on-call, out-of-hours rota, paid at £525 for the week you're on call (full details discussed at interview).
