Job summary

Shaw Trust in Hackney, London, is hiring a Job Coach for Supported Internships to help interns progress through their placements and secure paid employment. You will work closely with hosting employers, families and partners to ensure a successful workplace experience.

The role is permanent, based in Hackney, with standard forty-hour-per-week expectations and a strong focus on creating real pathways to paid work.

Responsibilities

• Support interns on Prospects Supported Internships to progress in their work placements and make successful transitions into paid employment.
• Provide training and support for business partners and families, to ensure success during workplace placements and to seek out job opportunities both within and outside of host employers.
