Job summary

Orchard Hill College in Sutton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Job coach to join our Supported Internship team. You will provide personalised job coaching, classroom support, and workplace rotation guidance to help learners with SEND develop skills and progress toward employment goals.

You will work with tutors to create tailored ILPs and maintain evidence and risk documentation. You will engage with external employers to identify work rotations, promote the benefits of employing people

Qualifications

Provides personalised job coaching and classroom/workplace support.
Plans, delivers employability workshops and supports in work rotations.
Assesses learners and creates tailored employability plans.
Promotes safeguarding, equality, and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide personalised job-coaching, classroom support, and workplace rotation guidance.
Collaborate with learners to create and review tailored vocational profiles and ILPs.
Engage with external employers to identify work rotations and promote employment of people with SEND.
Support learners during transition to employment and adhere to safeguarding policies.
