Job summary

The AA in Oldbury is recruiting a JLR Technical Advisor to provide expert remote technical support to customers with vehicle issues.

You will diagnose faults using technical bulletins and diagnostic tools, guiding remote fixes or arranging roadside assistance only when needed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Significant hands-on experience within the motor vehicle repair industry.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently.
• Good IT skills and confidence using multiple computer systems.
• A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering great service.
• A flexible attitude, with availability to work a rota covering Monday to Sunday between 8:00am and 7:00pm.

As aJLR Technical Advisor, you'll provide expert remote technical support to customers experiencing vehicle issues.

Using your diagnostic skills, you'll assess each situation and determine the most effective solution whether that's guiding the customer through a remote fix or arranging roadside assistance only when it's genuinely needed.

What will I be doing?

• Vehicle history
