Job summary

The AA, in partnership with Jaguar Land Rover, seeks a Jaguar Land Rover Dedicated Technician to deliver prestige roadside support and exceptional customer service in Swindon. You’ll use manufacturer tools and diagnose complex issues while representing two trusted brands.

This role offers a base salary of £38,270 with OTE £50,000+, thorough JLR and AA training, 23 days holiday, company van, fuel, uniform, and a pension plan. You’ll work 40 hours weekly with early and late standby hours.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Confident, independent, and customer focused.
• Holds a full UK Cat B licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Provide prestige roadside support for JLR vehicles using manufacturer tools.
• Own the customer experience from arrival to repair completion.
• Blend technical skill with clear communication to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle warranty work, roadside diagnostics and advanced repairs.
• Start and end your day at home with a JLR van, tools and uniform.
• Work 40 hours weekly with 7am–9pm shifts and flexible standby.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver prestige roadside support for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles, using manufacturer-specific tools and diagnostics
• Take complete ownership of the customer experience, from arrival to completion of the repair
• Combine technical skill with excellent communication to ensure customer satisfaction every time
• Handle a mix of warranty work, roadside diagnostics, and advanced repairs
• Start and end your day at home with a fully equipped JLR van, tools, and uniform
• Work 40 hours/week – currently with a 7am–9pm shift range, with flexible standby hours to suit your life
