Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment is seeking a talented Java Engineer to join our client’s team in the West of England. You will develop robust Java applications, participate in a Scrum team, and contribute to high-quality software delivery on complex projects.

The role focuses on writing unit and integration tests, applying TDD, and building scalable services with Spring Boot, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll collaborate with other tech teams to accelerate delivery and improve performance and

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and associated technologies.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with unit testing, test automation, and TDD.
• Experience with DevOps tooling and CI/CD.
• Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Agile software delivery.
• Experience with Docker or other container technologies would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Join our team delivering high-quality software on critical projects.
• Work as part of an Agile/Scrum team throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and associated technologies
