Illumina, Inc. in Cambridge is seeking an Italian-speaking Credit Controller to join the Accounts Receivable team.

This role is hub and hybrid, requiring one day per week in the Cambridge office (Thursday) to collaborate with the onsite team. You will support the AR function, manage channel partner accounts, collect balances, monitor credit status, and handle cash postings across EMEA while using customer portals for daily credit control tasks.

Qualifications

• Italian language skills to support our Italian-speaking customers.
• Previous credit control / Accounts Receivable experience, including the collection of overdue balances.
• Practical experience using customer portals within a credit control environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and tight timescales.
• Experience using SAP would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Support the Accounts Receivable function, helping to keep customer accounts accurate, payments moving and queries resolved.
• Manage Channel Partner accounts, including account reconciliation.
• Collect outstanding balances and support payment within terms.
• Monitor customer credit status, credit blocks and credit exposure.
• Manage cash application and payment posting across EMEA accounts.
• Use customer portals as part of day-to-day credit control and collection processes.
• Issue customer statements and dunning letters.
• Investigate and resolve account queries, discrepancies and disputes.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales and other functions to maintain positive customer experience.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and follow established credit and collection processes.
• Spend ~50% of time supporting testing activities for Next Gen ERP project.
