We are looking for a confident, approachable and enthusiastic IT Trainer to become the go-to person for IT training across multiple sites.
You’ll help colleagues get the most out of the technology they use every day. This could mean delivering one-to-one support, running group training sessions, creating easy-to-follow guides and videos, or helping new starters get comfortable with our systems.
This is a hands‑on training role, with a strong focus on people, communication and creating useful learning materials. You’ll also have responsibility for administering and developing the content within our Learning Management System (LMS).
This is a multi‑site role, and regular travel between our offices will be an important part of the position.
You’ll provide training and support across our offices in:
Travel will include supporting colleagues through face‑to‑face training, new starter inductions, group sessions and regular floor walking. You’ll need to be comfortable working across different locations and managing your time effectively between sites.
You’ll provide training in a variety of formats, depending on what works best for the individual or team.
You’ll be responsible for making sure our training resources are useful, accessible and kept up to date.
You’ll work closely with departmental "Buddies" and colleagues across the business to continually improve our training.
You’ll work closely with our IT Developers when new systems, features or processes are being introduced.
You’ll help make sure training is ready when new technology goes live by:
You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about new technologies and processes so that you can then share that knowledge with colleagues.
This could involve attending demonstrations, working with developers or subject matter experts, and turning technical information into simple, practical training for end users.
You’ll maintain accurate training records for HR and ensure that training activity is properly documented.
As part of the role, you’ll also be expected to follow the professional and regulatory requirements relevant to Warner Goodman's legal and financial services environment, including requirements relating to the SRA and FCA.
You don’t necessarily need to be an expert in every system. What’s important is that you’re confident with technology and able to learn new systems quickly and then explain them clearly to others.
