Job summary

Tate is seeking an IT Trainer to design, develop and deliver training across the business. The role involves creating learning content, coaching staff, and supporting the adoption of new systems and technology.

You will visit Hampshire offices, deliver inductions, and run group sessions both in person and online, ensuring training stays current with evolving processes and tools.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an IT Trainer, Systems Trainer or Technology Training role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The confidence to deliver training to individuals and groups at all levels.
  • Experience creating engaging training materials and learning content.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • A friendly, approachable and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver IT training to staff, including new starter inductions.
  • Conduct one-to-one training sessions, both in person and remotely.
  • Deliver departmental and group training workshops.
  • Regularly visit office locations to provide floor-walking support and guidance.
  • Arrange external training courses and venues where required.
  • Develop, maintain and administer the company's Learning Management System.
  • Create and update training materials, including: User documentation, Video guides, Quizzes and assessments, Surveys and feedback tools.
  • Work closely with departmental Training Buddies to continuously improve training programmes and documentation.
  • Ensure training content remains up to date with evolving systems and business processes.
  • Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities, becoming a subject matter expert in new technologies and processes.
  • Collaborate with IT Developers on new projects and system enhancements to ensure training materials are ready ahead of launches.
  • Assist with the creation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) checklists for new initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate training records and reporting for HR.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant professional and regulatory obligations.

Our client, a respected professional services firm, is seeking a proactive and engaging IT Trainer to take ownership of all IT training initiatives across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident communicator who enjoys working with people at all levels and creating innovative learning solutions that make a real impact.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will design, develop and deliver a range of training programmes, helping colleagues maximise the benefits of business systems and technology. From one-to-one coaching and group workshops through to video guides, documentation and e-learning content, you'll play a key role in driving learning and development across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
