Job summary

CM Law Recruitment is recruiting for an IT Trainer role at a leading London law firm near Liverpool Street. This is a brand-new position to shape the IT training function across the London office and become the go-to trainer for core systems.

You will design training materials, deliver end-user training on document management, practice management, and Microsoft 365, and provide floor support and coaching to fee earners and staff. Collaboration with IT, L&D and business change teams is essential.

• Strong knowledge of legal tech including document management and practice management systems.

Responsibilities

A brand new role for this award winning law firm - this is a fantastic opportunity to become the go-to person for IT training across their London office, shaping the function from the ground up.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Delivering end-user IT training across the firm's core systems, including document management, practice management and Microsoft 365
• Designing and maintaining training materials, guides and induction content for new joiners
• Providing floor support and one-to-one coaching to fee earners and business services staff
• Partnering with IT, L&D and business change teams on the rollout of new systems and updates
• Acting as the first point of contact for all IT training queries across the London office

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience as an IT Trainer within a law firm or wider professional services environment
• Strong working knowledge of legal technology, including document management systems, practice management systems and Microsoft Office
• A confident, engaging training style with the ability to adapt to different learning needs
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
