Job summary

Royal Russell School in South London is seeking an IT Technician to join its IT team. You will provide first and second-line support for staff and pupils, maintaining a wide range of devices and AV systems across the campus.

The role requires at least 12 months of IT experience, strong customer service and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory and cloud technologies. It is a full-time, on-site position with occasional after-hours duties.

Qualifications

• GCSE in Maths and English at Level 4 or above, or equivalent
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and cloud technologies is essential
• Experience providing IT support in a school or busy environment is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide first line IT support to staff and students
• Respond to helpdesk queries and tickets, troubleshoot issues
• Maintain and support devices including Surface Pros, Chromebooks, iPads and Macs
• Support printers, AV equipment and network infrastructure
• Assist with IT projects and contribute to service improvements
• Occasional evening and weekend support for school events
