Job summary

Planet Recruitment is seeking an IT Temporary Cover for approximately six months to support our Witney site. The role is on-site and involves hands-on IT tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The candidate will troubleshoot Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments, resolve printer and toner issues, and assist users with software problems while working around the site. A calm, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Able to set up equipment and documents following procedures.
• Troubleshooting printers and replacing toners.
• Troubleshoot software issues.
• Troubleshoot users and IT support queries.
• Familiarity with network environments.
• Willing to travel around site and work away from a desk.
• Maintain level-headedness and think clearly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support at Witney site for approximately 6 months.
• Set up equipment and documents according to procedures.
• Troubleshoot printers and resolve toner issues.
• Diagnose and fix software problems for users.
• Assist users with IT questions and incidents on-site.
• Coordinate with local network environment as needed.

IT Temporary Cover (6 Months) - PAYE £110-£120 a day - Witney - Oxfordshire

Key Requirements:

• Must have familiarity with Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments
• Able to accurately deal with procedures - i.e. setting up equipment and documents
• Trouble shooting printers
• Knowledge of replacing toners
• Trouble shooting software issues
• Trouble shooting users (issues)
• Familiarity with network environments
• Willing to get out around site - this is not sitting behind a desk job
• Level-headed and the ability to keep calm and think clearly under pressure
