Job summary

PlanetRecruitment is seeking a Senior IT Technician to support daily IT operations in an educational environment in Witney. You will act as an escalation point for 2nd/3rd line issues within a small team, communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.

The role requires experience in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure, including configuring HPE and Aruba switches. You will also create information packs for inventories and wireless configuration.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 2nd/3rd line IT support in an educational or similar environment.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills are essential.
• Ability to document and share information packs, inventories and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support in an educational environment.
• Escalate to senior/junior engineers for complex issues.
• Maintain Active Directory and Microsoft 365 services.
• Manage group server infrastructure and network inventories.
• Configure network switches from HPE and Aruba.

Profile

My client is looking for a Senior IT Technicianto support them over the next 5 months with day to day support within an educationalenvironment.

Working within a small team you will be an escalation point to the junior engineer and will need to have experience of working at a 2nd/3rd line level.

You will need to have strong communication skills and be comfortable working in a customer facing environment.
