Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is offering an IT Technician role in the Telford area, commutable from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and surrounding towns. You will join a growing manufacturing business, becoming the first point of contact for IT queries and gaining comprehensive training as you support everyday IT needs.

The package includes £29,000-£38,000 salary, pension, holiday increasing with service and a Health Cash Plan after one year, plus extensive IT training from an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows, basic networking, computer hardware and peripherals.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra environments.
• Methodical problem solver who can explain technical issues clearly and prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for IT queries, diagnosing hardware, software and network problems. You will also install and configure equipment, set up user accounts and support the rollout of new applications and technology.

This role would suit someone with a strong understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365 and IT fundamentals who enjoys solving problems and helping people. Previous helpdesk, desktop support or IT support experience would be beneficial.
