Job summary

GORSE Academies Trust is seeking an IT Technician to provide remote and on-site support to students and staff across our academies. The successful candidate will ensure IT Services are safe, secure and robust, while fostering flexible, friendly relationships with all stakeholders.

The role sits within an established IT Service Hub at one of our secondary academies, and requires a commitment to safeguarding and ongoing staff development.

What skills and experience we're looking for

The GORSE Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a skilled, passionate technologist with a keen interest in customer service, for the role of IT Technician. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing remote and onsite support to customers, ideally within an education setting. They will be committed to ensuring that IT Services are safe, secure, and robust, whilst maintaining flexible, friendly and strong working relationships with all stakeholders. The successful candidate will join an established IT Service Hub, based at one of our Secondary academies.

Potential applicants should have:

• GCSE Grade C/4 and above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• A relevant Level 3 qualification, or willing to work towards.
• Experience of managing competing priorities and working to tight timescales.
