Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking a Senior IT Technician to support a diverse client portfolio within a fast-moving MSP environment in the United Kingdom. You will be the first technical contact, resolving incidents across hardware, software, and networks, and visiting client sites as needed.

You will manage tickets within SLAs, maintain documentation, and assist with deployments and projects while keeping stakeholders informed.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in an MSP environment is preferred.
• Proficient with Windows and macOS devices and networks.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR requirements.

Responsibilities

An established technology services provider is looking for a Senior IT Technician to support a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to work with modern technologies within a fast-moving MSP environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer support as the first point of technical contact.

Resolve hardware, software and network-related incidents.

Attend client premises for troubleshooting, upgrades and maintenance.

Process and manage support tickets within agreed service levels.

Keep stakeholders informed of progress and resolutions.

Escalate urgent matters when necessary.

Monitor customer systems and infrastructure health.

Maintain technical records and documentation.

Assist with planned projects and deployments.

Respond to high-priority support requests.

Package on offer

Earn between £30k and £40k per year, subject to experience.

Enjoy an excellent holiday allowance of 40 paid days annually.

Five or more years of relevant industry experience.

Practical experience with Cyber Essentials controls and GDPR standards.

Intune device management and remote monitoring tools.

Strong networking background.

Windows Server security and policy administration.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
