Job Title: IT Team Leader (3rd Line)
Location: Clyde, Scotland - On site
An opportunity is available for a 3rd Line Engineer & Team Lead to build and grow a team of support technicians supporting training systems for armed forces personnel.
We seek a skilled 3rd line support engineer with team lead experience to form a new team of 2nd/3rd line technicians. This role offers growth in IT knowledge and management skills, requiring good leadership and communication skills to mentor junior team members. A solid understanding of IT support is essential, with opportunities for training in relevant technologies. We value respectful workplaces and technological innovation, aiming to expand our support team regionally.
The role involves working with remote UK teams and liaising with customers to meet contractual expectations. You will develop processes and instructions to support customer needs and meet KPIs/PI’s.
This position involves providing technical support and solutions for legacy and future training systems at Faslane, Helensburgh, on-site only due to the nature of support required.
Knowledge of military security, PDR/JSP’s is advantageous. You may also engage in projects elsewhere occasionally. Maintaining high customer satisfaction through clear communication and support within your role is crucial. You will also contribute to team targets through various tasks, including document reviews and system installations. Prior experience in similar roles is beneficial.
