Job summary

A legal firm in Liverpool is seeking an hands-on IT Support Technician to join a growing team. With 2+ years of experience, you will handle daily tickets, support Windows 10/11 and M365, and assist with Active Directory, server tasks, and enterprise tech like Citrix.

The role is onsite in Liverpool city centre with a future move to hybrid working. Ideal candidates have ITIL certification and a strong drive to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on 1st/2nd line support in a business setting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Active Directory user administration and basic Windows Server tasks.
• ITIL certification and understanding of structured support processes.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of escalation on the service desk, triaging and resolving tickets.
• Manage Windows desktop environments and core Office applications.
• Administer Active Directory groups and permissions; handle basic Windows Server tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot basic networking and backups to protect business continuity.
• Support Proclaim and other legal tech systems; assist with printing and remote tools.
