Job summary

JTec IT Ltd in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland, is seeking an IT Support Technician to install, configure and troubleshoot computer hardware and software for both internal users and customers. You will work on Remote Desktop Services, Windows environments and cybersecurity solutions, with a strong focus on customer service and independent work ethic.

The role requires 2+ years in IT, a full UK driving licence and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.

Qualifications

2yrs+ experience in information/computer industry.
Experience installing, configuring & supporting Windows Server and Windows 10/11.
Experience with Hyper-V, VMware, MS 365, Power Automate/Flow, Azure, Intune, SharePoint.
Knowledge of cybersecurity systems and networking principles.

Responsibilities

Install and configure software on servers and PCs at customer premises or remotely.
Provide technical support by telephone, remote access, and on-site.
Maintain technical knowledge base and internal/external documentation.
Troubleshoot system problems and contribute to SOPs,
