The role involves providing 1st and 2nd line IT support, attending to incidents, and progressing diagnostics with supervision. Training will be provided to build independent skills and contribute to IT solutions within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Degree apprenticeship to gain BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions (IT Consulting pathway) with Sheffield Hallam University.
• Involvement in receiving, logging and updating incidents and service requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT hardware and software support within the IT Service Desk and Field Support Teams.
• Assist in investigating faults and performing initial diagnostics as experience increases.
• Maintain communications with users to ensure repairs meet timescales and quality standards.
• Assist in design, testing, documentation and implementation of solutions under guidance.
• Attend apprenticeship learning sessions in person or online to complete the degree course.
