£31,000 - £34,800 (including 10% uplift for unsociable hours + London weighting of £4,000)

Hours - 12pm - 8:30pm (Tuesday - Friday), 9am - 2pm (Saturday)

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting an IT Support Technician to join our IT team, supporting all technology for students and staff at our London Tower Hill campus.

  • Provide outstanding local and remote support to our London Tower Hill campus, taking ownership of first and second line issues and service requests for staff and students regarding all technical matters.
  • Resolve issues with computer & AV hardware and software, managing support requests both in person and remotely.
  • Deliver user training, promote best practices, and enforce policies to staff and students across all University Study Centres and offices.
About You

We would like to hear from applicants who have:

Essential
  • Qualifications/Education: Minimum NVQ 2-3, City & Guilds, or equivalent, plus relevant experience.
  • Skills/Training: Proficient in Microsoft operating systems and applications, capable of explaining technical solutions to all user levels, experienced with ITSM ticketing systems, able to multitask, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience: Assessing and responding to technical issues, providing excellent customer service, and creating user support documentation.
Desirable
  • ITIL Qualifications, technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft MCSA, Cisco CCNA), experience with AV equipment, and experience in Higher Education.
