Job summary

City Building (Glasgow) LLP is seeking an IT Technical Support Officer to maintain and support our desktop and end-user computing environment. You will ensure systems and devices operate securely and deliver an excellent user experience.

Join a busy enterprise IT team, providing frontline support, troubleshooting hardware, software and endpoint issues while helping implement preventative solutions and keep documentation up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience providing first and second-line IT support.
• Strong communication skills with non-technical users.
• Good problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Awareness of IT security, data protection and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support City Building's desktop and end-user computing environment.
• Provide frontline technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Assist with endpoint deployment, configuration, patching, security and asset management.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
