Join our team at Franke Coffee Systems UK Limited, a global leader in coffee technology and innovation. As a member of our international IT support team, you'll be based at our offices in St Albans, with a unique opportunity to extend your impact to teams in Manchester and Falkirk. Your role will primarily involve remote support, complemented by occasional visits to ensure seamless IT operations for all locations.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support within the UK.
  • Handle joiner/mover/leaver processes using ServiceNow.
  • Support standard applications (M365, Adobe) and manage software provisioning (SCCM).
  • Install, maintain, and provision client hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets, barcode scanners) and peripherals (printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines).
  • Provide telephony VoIP support.
  • Offer network support (LAN) and monitor WAN and Server VMs.
  • Manage mobile devices and contracts.
  • Conduct introduction and training sessions.
  • Contribute as a team member to various projects.
  • Act as a local contact for Platform Services.
  • Handle quotes and the order process for hardware.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3 years of work experience in the IT Service Desk area.
  • Experience in ICT service operations.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL.
  • Broad technical skills in hardware, OS, and software (Microsoft, mobile devices).
  • Basic technical skills in Server OS, network (Meraki), and storage (Simplivity).
  • Basic application architecture know-how.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • Independence with excellent team skills for collaboration with IS specialists and key users.
  • Open and communicative, enjoying interaction with people through telephone and Teams support.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (approximately 20% within the UK).
  • Excellent English language skills (oral and written).
