Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT engineer for a hands-on role within an international technology organisation. You will support IT environments remotely and on customer premises, acting as a trusted point of contact for technical issues.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT engineering, with Cyber Essentials, GDPR, M365, Intune, RMM, and network infrastructure experience. You will install, configure, test, and maintain hardware and software while keeping accurate ticket records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar IT engineering role.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Familiar with Microsoft Intune and RMM solutions.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure (routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs).
• Experience with Azure administration and implementation.
• Windows 10/11 and Mac operating systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-facing.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience visiting customer sites and installations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and act as a trusted contact for support.
• Visit customer sites to investigate issues, perform installations and maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests through the Service Desk.
• Provide regular updates and progress tickets within SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to management when needed.
• Organise daily workloads and triage urgent tasks.
• Monitor environments to ensure reliability and business alignment.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware/software.
• Maintain accurate ticket information and document actions.
• Respond to major incidents remotely and on-site.
