Job summary

Emplyfy seeks an experienced IT engineer for a hands-on role within an international technology organisation. You will support customers both remotely and on-site, resolving issues and maintaining IT environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT engineering, with knowledge of Cyber Essentials, GDPR, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and RMM tools. Strong communication and ticketing discipline are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar IT engineering role.
• Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards knowledge and implementation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with Azure administration and Intune.
• Strong documentation and ticketing discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers as a trusted point of contact.
• Visit customer sites to investigate, resolve issues and perform installations.
• Manage incidents and requests through the Service Desk system.
• Provide regular updates and ensure tickets meet SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to management when needed.
• Organise daily workloads and prioritize tasks.
• Monitor environments to ensure reliability and business compliance.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware and software.
• Maintain accurate ticket information and document work.
• Respond to major incidents remotely or on customer sites.
