Job summary

Capital One Nottingham is seeking an IT Support Engineer to deliver top-tier technical support across Windows and Mac platforms, assist internal associates, and resolve incidents in person or remotely. The role combines hands-on problem-solving with a customer-first mindset in a collaborative environment.

You will work from the Nottingham Head Office, with a requirement to be on-site at least three days a week (Tues–Thu).

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge in End User Compute technologies including Windows 11, MacOS, Virtual Desktops (AWS Workspaces), Mobile, VC (preferably Zoom) and digital signage platforms.
• Expertise in management tools including Intune, Jamf, Airwatch.
• Hands-on experience of Google Workspace
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence
• Effective communication with associates at all levels, both technical and non-technical.
• Ability to work autonomously whilst being part of a wider team

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal end users, acting as a supportive and responsive point of contact to ensure high satisfaction and continuous office operations.
• Provide welcoming, customer-focused incident resolution in person at the IT bar and remotely.
• Manage user requests, service changes, and technical problems efficiently with clear, helpful communication.
• Identify and implement service improvements driven by end-user feedback and support trends.
