Job summary

Capital One Nottingham is seeking an IT Support Engineer to deliver top-tier technical support across Windows and Mac platforms, assist internal associates, and resolve incidents in person or remotely. The role combines hands-on problem-solving with a customer-first mindset in a collaborative environment.

You will work from the Nottingham Head Office, with a requirement to be on-site at least three days a week (Tues–Thu).

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge in End User Compute technologies including Windows 11, MacOS, Virtual Desktops (AWS Workspaces), Mobile, VC (preferably Zoom) and digital signage platforms.
• Expertise in management tools including Intune, Jamf, Airwatch.
• Hands-on experience of Google Workspace
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence
• Effective communication with associates at all levels, both technical and non-technical.
• Ability to work autonomously whilst being part of a wider team

Responsibilities

About The Role

As an IT Support Engineer you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier technical support and service excellence. You will act as a trusted partner, utilising our modern technology stack to empower associates across both Windows and Mac platforms. In this role, you will focus on delivering a seamless and personable user experience by proactively addressing requests and resolving technical issues. This position combines hands-on technical problem-solving with a customer-first mindset in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham Head Office. We’re big on collaboration and connection, so you’ll be based in our Nottingham office at least 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
