Job summary

Victoria Wall Associates Limited is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to join its West End team. The role provides hands-on 2nd line IT support across the organisation, covering Windows 11, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and business systems.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot across Windows, 365 apps, and networking, support remote users, and help grow the IT function with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on 2nd line IT support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and support.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Knowledge of Intune or other endpoint management tools.
• Good networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs.
• Experience using service desk/ticket systems.
• Ability to support both office and remote users.
• Excellent communication and customer service; can explain tech to non-tech users.
• Proactive and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line IT support across the organisation.
• Own incidents and service requests from investigation to resolution with excellent customer service.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, VPN, printing, hardware and apps.
• Support and maintain network infrastructure including switches, wireless networks and firewalls.
• Assist with cybersecurity activities and security posture improvements.
• Guide and support junior IT team members as the department grows.
• Support on ad-hoc tasks as required.
